Recently, firefighters in the Kharkiv region found a dog during a fire in one of the shelled houses. Since the owners were not there, he was taken to the fire department. Now the animal lives with them. In the article, read the poignant story about Bai's dog.

Channel 24 correspondent Anna Chernenko showed a new resident of the fire station.

She told how firefighters from the Kharkiv region picked up a puppy. They named it Bai (Bayraktar for short).

“Such stories strike with kindness. People often take animals from fires and destroyed houses , attach them to themselves or give them to people,” says Chernenko.

The journalist jokes that he is also called Balamut, because the dog is a little harmful – he chews firemen's boots and escorts them loudly to calls.

How the dog appeared in the fire station

Dog almost died twice from shelling and fire. There the rescuers found him.

When extinguishing a fire in a private house in the Kharkiv region, we saw a small dog indoors. It was two months ago. There were no owners, so we took him with us and brought him to the fire station, – says the head of the guard, Vitaly Grichin.

According to him, the dog quickly got used to it, and they set up a booth for him.< /p>

Firefighters say the dog is already accustomed to the sounds of gunfire and naps peacefully when the surroundings are loud. However, one of the last shellings frightened the dog very much.

The journalist reported that over the past day there were several shelling and fires in Saltovka. Private houses were affected.

Chuguevsky district also suffered during those days. It was very “covered” there, the temple was once again shelled, private houses, cafes and shops burned out.since the morning of May 23rd. Luckily no one was hurt and there was no fire. However, it “flew” in one of the central districts of the city, the sappers seized 5 non-explosive cluster shells from there.

The correspondent added that already on Tuesday, May 24, they plan to launch the metro in Kharkiv. However, this will not be a full restoration yet, because people still live at some stations.

• A Kharkiv policeman sheltered a small puppy who was in critical condition. Now the dog's name is Azov. About 30 more herbs were found in the same house, they were handed over to volunteers.

The four-legged friend of the rescuers continues to help clean up the territory after the Russian invaders. The dog finds explosive objects. It is known that Patron, together with pyrotechnicians, has already destroyed 262 such items.
• Almaz, a Belgian shepherd dog, also serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine – he also helps to clear the already liberated territories.
