Military ID — This is a document proving the identity of a military person, a person liable for military service or a reservist. It determines the owner’s affiliation with military duty. Military IDs are issued by territorial recruitment centers (TCC) and social support centers (SP).

Fine for loss of military ID: what liability is provided
Military personnel are required to securely store their military ID and ensure that changes to the document are made in a timely and accurate manner. However, in conditions of martial law and military operations, the loss of a military ID is possible.

For careless storage of a military ID, which led to its loss or damage, a fine is imposed (in accordance with Article 211 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
The fine for losing a military ID during a special period is:
- at the first loss — from 30 to 50 tax-free minimum incomes of citizens, this is from 510 UAH to 850 UAH;
- if repeated violation — from 50 to 100 non-taxable minimums, that is, from 850 UAH to 1700 UAH.
A military ID can be re-issued in the following cases:
- loss or theft of a document;
- damage or destruction of a military ID as a result of a natural disaster;
- the document is unsuitable for further use;
- change of personal data of a military personnel — last name, first name or patronymic.
In case of loss of a military ID and to restore it, you must contact:
- to your commander — military personnel;
- to the head of TCC and JV — those liable for military service or reservists.
Please note! A military ID can be re-issued only by decision of the commander, head of the TCC and SP on the basis of a personal report (application) of a serviceman, a person liable for military service, or a reservist.
There is no set deadline for the restoration of a military ID.
