A military ID determines whether a person is eligible to perform military duty. It is issued by territorial recruitment centers (TCC) and social support centers (SP).

The law of Ukraine stipulates that a person liable for military service must have with him a military ID or a temporary certificate of a person liable for military service. In the absence of documents, liability is provided in the form of a fine.

Let's find out what the fine is for not having a military ID in Ukraine in 2024.

Free legal aid lawyers noted that in accordance with the Law on Mobilization Preparation and Mobilization (Part 6, Article 22), all male citizens of Ukraine aged 18 to 60 years are required to carry a military registration documents and present them at the request of an authorized representative of the TCC and SP, a border guard or a police officer.

The absence or refusal to present military registration documents indicates a violation of the legislation on defense, mobilization training and mobilization, committed during a special period.

Such a person is brought to administrative responsibility under Part 2 of Article 210-1 of the Code of Administrative Offences. As a result, he is subject to a fine from 17,000 UAH to 25,500 UAH.

Please note that the decision to impose a fine is made exclusively by the head of the TCC, in accordance with the requirements of Part 2 of Article 235 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
