Filling out the summons immediately before serving: is it legal

by alex

General mobilization in the country has been extended until May 18, so Ukrainians will continue to receive subpoenas. Often they can even be obtained on the street.

The fact is that the law does not specify places where summonses cannot be issued. Is it legal if it is filled out immediately before delivery – tells Channel 24.

Do they have the right to fill out the subpoena on the street before delivery

In fact, the law does not indicate a clear place where you need to fill out the agenda. Yes, it can be filled out right before handing it to a citizen even on the street.

However, there is an important nuance here : the summons can be filled out only in the presence of the head of the territorial center picking or he can do it personally.

Pay attention! The agenda must include the signature of the head of the TCC and a wet seal. Also, the document should contain the date of delivery, the address of the military registration and enlistment office and the time at which you need to apply there.

In what cases can the summons be canceled

The head of the personnel department of the headquarters of the command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Roman Gorbach, told in which cases may cancel the issued summons. According to him, this happens if a citizen of military age has a reservation or a delay from mobilization for various reasons.

Therefore, such persons should always have documents confirming this with them. In order to cancel an already received summons, you need to come to the territorial recruitment and social support center and provide the relevant documents confirming the availability of a reservation or postponement.
