The story of the Ukrainian operation in the Kursk region has interrupted what is happening on the eastern front in terms of information, and will continue to affect the entire front.

Battles in the Kursk region
According to him, the Russian military command is transferring units to the Kursk region primarily from the north of the Kharkov region and, to a certain extent, from other directions.

The Russian offensive is currently ongoing in the Pokrovsk direction. There are also battles near Chasovy Yar, there was information that the enemy allegedly crossed the canal. However, no further developments occurred, notes Denis Popovich.
In his opinion, it is very important to focus on the events in the Kursk region, because it is obvious that one of the tasks is to distract Russian reserves from those directions that are alarming for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Pokrovsk direction
According to Denis Popovich, Russian troops have the task of cutting off the Pokrovsk — Konstantinovka highway, and they are also advancing to Novogrodovka via the railway. If the occupiers manage to cut this route, then Ukrainian units will have problems with logistics along the entire eastern arc.
