Slovakia intends to stop supplying diesel fuel to Ukraine if Kyiv does not resume oil transit from Russia's Lukoil.
This was stated in a video address by Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico.
— If the transit of Russian oil through Ukraine is not restored in the near future, (Slovak oil refinery, — Ed.) Slovnaft will not continue to supply diesel fuel to Ukraine, he said.
The country's prime minister noted that supplies from Slovakia cover a tenth of Ukraine's diesel fuel consumption.

Fico threatens to cut off diesel fuel supplies to Ukraine
As TASR reports, Fico reported this to the Ukrainian ambassador to Slovakia, Miroslav Kastran.
— I told (the ambassador, — Ed.) that we stand by the measures and statements we have made. Further implementation of this senseless sanction (stopping oil supplies to Hungary and Slovakia via Ukraine, — Ed.) will only harm Ukraine, Slovakia and Hungary. And it will have virtually no effect on Russia, — he said.
In addition, Fico noted that on Friday he offered Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal a “technical solution” to resume transit of Russian Lukoil oil through Ukrainian territory. At the same time, the Slovak Prime Minister did not provide any details of his proposal, but said that it should involve several countries.
— I welcome the news that the relevant trading companies are already thinking about how to implement this technical solution in the shortest possible time, — says Fico.
Recall that Hungary and Slovakia have appealed to the European Commission to urge official Kyiv to lift sanctions against the Russian oil company Lukoil, since Ukraine has stopped the transit of oil products from Russia via the Druzhba pipeline to EU countries.
However, according to FT, the EU did not support Hungary and Slovakia in this matter.
