The most important achievement of the Ukrainian Defense Forces over the past six months is the naval victory in the Black Sea.
Yale history professor Timothy Snyder said this in a Telegraph podcast.
According to him, this achievement of Ukrainian defenders went almost unnoticed.

“Some reporters covered it, but overall it passed people by, when there was something significant about what actually happened, which was this naval victory,” he said.
Snyder added that Ukraine, “to everyone’s surprise,” managed to contain the Russian Black Sea Fleet and open a corridor for commercial grain trade.
Earlier, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced financial assistance to Ukraine for the repair of port infrastructure.
