Earlier, information appeared in the media about the alleged execution of Kuzminov in one of the cities of Spain.

Operation Tit

On August 9, 2023, Kuzminov landed a Mi-8 helicopter on the territory of the Volchansk community in the Kharkov region.

The special operation code-named Sinitsa was prepared for several months. During the operation, Ukrainian special services took the entire family of the Russian pilot abroad.

In September 2023, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kirill Budanov, said that during the operation, conditions were created under which the helicopter was ferried to Ukraine along with the crew, who did not know what was happening.

— When they realized where they had landed, they tried to run away. Unfortunately, they were destroyed. We would like to be alive, but we have what we have, — Budanov told then.

It is noted that, together with the Mi-8 helicopter, Kuzminov transported components for combat aircraft to Ukraine.
