In the Odessa region, a 12-year-old boy died after falling into a well.
The tragedy occurred in one of the villages of the Baltic territorial community of the Podolsk region.

As Odessa police established, the minor went to get water from a well in the yard, but slipped, lost his balance and fell.

The father, hearing the screams, hurried to help his son.
The man pulled his son to the surface still alive – the child was unconscious.
However, the boy died before the doctors arrived.
Emergency response
The police are establishing the circumstances of the boy’s death and deciding whether to enter information into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (premeditated murder with the note accident).
The cause of the child's death will be determined based on the results of a forensic medical examination.
