A 10-year-old child died and four more people, including two young children, were injured in a fatal traffic accident in Dnipro.
According to the Dnipropetrovsk region police, the driver who caused the accident has been detained.

— A 10-year-old passenger of a Ford died in a traffic accident. The driver of the Ford and three other passengers, including two young children, received bodily injuries, the report says.
The accident itself occurred on Sunday, December 1, at 19:45 in the area of Naberezhnaya Zavodskaya Street in Dnepr.
According to preliminary information, the driver of the BMW, in the area of the Detsky Kombinat public transport stop, collided with a Ford, which was making a U-turn.
All victims from the Ford were hospitalized.
According to the police, law enforcement officers detained the driver of the BMW in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
The investigator opened a criminal case on this fact under Part 2 of Article 286 (violation of traffic safety rules or operation of transport by persons driving vehicles) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
A pre-trial investigation has been initiated.
