On January 14, Romania resumed blocking the Siret checkpoint — Cutting for freight transport.
At about 14.00, Romanian farmers and agrarians resumed blocking the movement of cargo vehicles in the direction of the Siret checkpoint, which is located opposite the Ukrainian checkpoint Porubnoye, the State Border Guard Service reports, citing information from colleagues from Romania.
Currently, registration of all types of vehicles, as well as pedestrians, for leaving Ukraine is carried out in accordance with the established procedure.

The day before, January 13, Romanian farmers blocked the movement of trucks through the Siret border crossing point for six hours.
At the end of 2023, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that during the blockade of agricultural exports by Poland, it was Romania that helped Ukraine survive.
