Former people's deputy Irina Farion, who distinguished herself with scandalous statements about the Ukrainian military and the publication of a letter from a student from occupied Crimea, is going to file a lawsuit against the Lviv Polytechnic National University.

Recently, the educational institution announced the dismissal of Farion from the position of professor in the Ukrainian language department. She taught students in Lviv, who, after Farion’s scandalous statements, protested demanding her dismissal.

At the same time, Farion recently published a letter from a pro-Ukrainian student from temporarily occupied Crimea. She did not hide the sender’s name, surname and other personal data, which allowed the occupiers to establish the identity of the young man.
The Security Service of Ukraine opened proceedings against Irina Farion under four articles of the Criminal Code.
Among them are violations of the equality of citizens, insults to the honor and dignity of military personnel, and violations of the secrecy of correspondence and privacy.
