The owner of the propaganda Telegram channel Readovka, Alexey Kostylev, got into an accident in the Smolensk region. According to the media, the Kremlin mouthpiece crashed on an ATV in the village of Rukhan.

The circumstances of the accident are unknown. However, the Internet reports that Kostylev allegedly flew off the ATV as a result of the accident.

The propagandist was admitted to the hospital unconscious. He underwent surgery in the Smolensk region and is now being prepared to be transported to Moscow by air ambulance.

Kostylev's condition is extremely serious. As a result of the accident, the propagandist suffered a fracture of the base of the skull, a contusion of the brain and an open craniocerebral injury. In addition, doctors diagnosed Kostylev with blunt abdominal trauma and a closed fracture of the pelvic bones.

The propagandist is currently in intensive care. He never regained consciousness after the accident and is currently connected to a ventilator.

The propaganda Telegram channel Readovka, owned by Kostylev, reported that the accident occurred during his working visit to the Smolensk region. However, no details about his condition were given. Moreover, propagandists, as always, are trying to hide the real consequences and condition of Kostylev. The report claims that Kostylev's condition was allegedly “stabilized” and also called “not to be led by speculation.”

At the same time, journalist Denis Kazansky recalled that in March 2024, Kostylev came to the destroyed Severodonetsk to get some PR on the grief of local residents. He made videos about walking through the ruins in a Stalin-era uniform.

“Now he has a fractured skull base and is unlikely to be able to make mocking videos from Donbass anytime soon. Or maybe he will never be able to,” Kazansky added.
