In the Luhansk region, the Security Service of Ukraine detained a woman who is one of the organizers of Russia's fake referendum. The collaborator is in custody.
The SBU detained a collaborator during stabilization measures in the de-occupied Luhansk region. It is noted that the woman agreed to cooperate with the enemy for ideological reasons.
The collaborator campaigned to vote for “joining Russia”
According to the investigation, the collaborator 50 years old, she lives in the village of Stelmakhovka. Before the full-scale invasion, she worked at an agricultural enterprise, and after the occupation of the region, she cooperated with the aggressor.
The invaders instructed her to prepare and conduct a fake referendum in her native village.
The collaborator went around the locals with a ballot box to collect ballots. She campaigned for them to vote for “joining Russia.” The detainee ensured the necessary counting of votes as part of the election commission.
Currently, the collaborator is in custody. She faces up to 10 years in prison.
