Journalists from The Wall Street Journal, citing their own sources, noted that explosive devices the suspect in the shooting of Donald Trump was kept in his car.

Man Who Shot Trump May Have Explosives in Car

Witnesses told police the car driven by Thomas Matthew Crooks was parked near a Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, July 13.

Police said they received multiple reports of suspicious packages near the shooter's location, prompting them to dispatch bomb squads to the scene.

Investigators continued to work late into the night to secure the scene. In addition, law enforcement officers searched the suspect's home and interviewed his family members.

NBC News journalists also reported that photographs of the body of the suspect in the assassination attempt on Trump on the roof near the Trump rally show a man lying on the roof with a bloody head, surrounded by law enforcement officers. The bleeding man is wearing a gray T-shirt with an American flag on the sleeve with partially obscured block letters.

The design and lettering on the shirt are consistent with a shirt that is still for sale on the website of the Demolition Ranch YouTube firearms channel.

After photos and speculation began circulating online Saturday night, Demolition Ranch and its founder took to social media to share the photos and write, “What the hell.”

The outlet also showed video of the suspected shooter's body on the roof of a building near where people had gathered for the Trump rally.
