As the head of the region Ivan Fedorov reported on December 11 on the air of the national telethon Edini Novosti, a former industrial enterprise, the building of which has been an office and shopping center for more than 10 years, came under fire.
– On one of the floors there was a private clinic, which was hit by an enemy missile, probably of North Korean manufacture, – noted Ivan Fedorov.
At the time of the attack, there were doctors and patients in the private clinic.
Windows and roofs were broken in the surrounding multi-story buildings. A school building and an extracurricular institution were also damaged. In total, according to preliminary data, 20 residential buildings and three non-residential buildings were damaged.
It is known that the Russians killed nine people. There were 20 victims, including a five-year-old girl. Fortunately, the child did not need hospitalization – doctors provided him with assistance on the spot.
Four people remain in hospitals. Doctors assess their condition as moderate.
Four people were saved.
One of the saved doctors from a private clinic, Anna Zubchenko, recalls: she did not hear the explosion itself. She only felt the ceiling fall on her head.
The woman managed to free herself and call her husband. In addition, Anna Zubchenko also managed to partially dig out her colleague, who was hit harder.
At the moment, there are still people under the rubble. The search operation continues.
The consequences of the enemy strike are eliminated by more than 160 people with the help of fifty units of equipment.
