The Poltava Regional Military Administration confirmed that the Russians attacked the Poltava region.
The OVA reported that there were also hits in Poltava on residential buildings. A photo from the impact site shows partial destruction of a five-story residential building and a strong fire there.

According to the State Emergency Service, as of 09:33, three people were killed and 10 injured, including one child. Emergency rescue operations are ongoing. The entrance of the building from the 1st to the 5th floor was destroyed, and a fire broke out there. The powerful explosion damaged neighboring houses and 12 cars.

As a result of the shelling by the Russian Federation, damage to energy infrastructure was recorded in Mirgorod district of Poltava region. 164 household consumers and one legal entity were left without power.
They are already working on restoring power supply at the local level.
Missile threat for Poltava region
Thus, at 05:33 the Air Force command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned about the threat of using ballistic weapons from the northeast. Subsequently, the threat of using enemy strike UAVs was added for the Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, Chernihiv and Zhytomyr regions, heading mainly west.
At 06:57 the Air Force recorded high-speed targets through the Sumy region in the direction of Poltava region. A few minutes later, the enemy fired another missile in the direction of the region.
Local Telegram monitoring channels reported at least two explosions in Poltava region.
