Information about the explosion in Nikolaev on the evening of April 24 was confirmed by city mayor Alexander Senkevich.
According to the State Emergency Service, in the evening in Nikolaev there was an explosion of an unknown explosive device, which caused cars to catch fire.

While extinguishing the fire, a second detonation occurred, as a result of which five rescuers of the State Emergency Service were injured.
According to Senkevich, the explosion in Nikolaev is not associated with an enemy arrival. He noted that emergency services are on the scene, and houses nearby are not damaged.
