In general, 100 young patients of Okhmatdyt are undergoing inpatient treatment in other medical institutions in Kyiv and the region.

City authorities declared July 9 a day of mourning in Kyiv in connection with the Russian terrorist attack on civilian objects in the capital.
— On this day, flags on all municipal buildings in the city will be lowered. It is also recommended to lower state flags on public and private buildings. On July 9, any entertainment events are prohibited in the city, said Vitaliy Klitschko.
Consequences of explosions in Kyiv
As a result of a missile strike and explosions in Kyiv on July 8, falling debris was recorded in Solomensky, Dneprovsky, Darnitsky, Svyatoshinsky, Desnyansky, Shevchenkovsky and Goloseevsky districts. Preliminary data:
- in the Solomensky district, two floors of a multi-storey building were damaged, 1,500 sq. m. were destroyed. m area, there was a fire;
- in Goloseevsky — garages were damaged, cars were on fire;
- in Dneprovsky — debris was burning in a residential area.

- in the Svyatoshinsky district, debris burned near a residential building; there was also a fire in the premises of one of the enterprises;
- a house was on fire in the Desnyansky district;
- in the Shevchenkovsky district, the Okhmatdyt children's hospital was damaged, there is significant damage. Also in the area, a residential high-rise building was damaged — destroyed from the first to the third floors.
Also in the Goloseevsky and Shevchenkovsky districts, three DTEK transformer substations were completely destroyed or damaged. There is damage to the electrical network.
According to mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, one entrance to a residential building on Syrtsa was completely destroyed. Several — heavily damaged.
