Explosions in Dnepr thundered in the afternoon of June 24 during the alarm declared due to the threat of the use of ballistic weapons. Unfortunately, numerous hits on civilian infrastructure were recorded, there are dead and wounded.

The chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk OVA, Serhiy Lysak, reported a series of explosions in the regional center during a missile attack.

According to updated data from the OVA, the number of people killed in Dnepr has increased to 15, and more than 200 have been injured. Among the wounded are at least 18 children, the youngest of whom is only six months old.
There is a lot of destruction in Dnepr: infrastructure, educational and medical institutions, administrative buildings and buildings of the State Emergency Service, passenger train No. 52 Odessa-Zaporozhye.
46 multi-story buildings, 41 private homes, several dormitories, more than a hundred cars, a gas station, a service station, outbuildings, shopping pavilions, and stores were damaged.

Consequences of a missile strike on Samara in Dnepropetrovsk region
According to the head of the OVA, a hit was also recorded on the city of Samara, which is located 27 km from Dnepr.
Lysak did not specify the consequences of the strike, only reporting two deaths and 14 wounded.
More than 70 rescuers, 17 units of State Emergency Service equipment and all emergency services are working at the impact sites in Dnepr and Samara.
The Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office has begun a pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes that resulted in the death of people (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Let us recall that on the night and morning of June 24, the Russian Federation shelled the Nikopol district of the Dnepropetrovsk region using artillery and FPV drones.
As a result, Nikopol itself, Marganets and Mirovsk communities were hit. An administrative building, a multi-storey building, two private houses and a store were damaged.
As a result of the shelling, four people were wounded: two women, aged 34 and 40, and two men, aged 36 and 44. All are currently undergoing outpatient treatment.
