Mass burial people in Izyum: important
- A mass grave of bodies in Izyum was found on September 15 near the cemetery in Izyum. Russian occupiers buried Ukrainians there in unmarked graves during the occupation from April 2 to September 15.
- Subsequently, it became known that whole families were buried there. For example, at the site of mass graves, the grave of a 6-year-old girl, Olesya Stolpakova, was found. Her parents, Elena and Dmitry, were buried nearby. They had nothing to do with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but the invaders could kill them only because civilians witnessed the crimes of the Russians. The invaders had an order to kill witnesses.
- During the exhumation, Ukraine began to discover the bodies of people with signs of terrible torture. In particular, they found the body of a man with his hands tied and his scrotum cut off.
