Everything will be different, – the political scientist suggested how the Russians will behave during the mission to the ZNPP

The IAEA mission headed by Director General Rafel Grossi is already heading to the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. the Russians will have to demonstrate the “absolute safety” of the largest power plant in Europe during the visit.

Probably, the occupiers will even withdraw all military equipment from its territory. Alexander Solontai, director of policy programs at the Institute of Political Education, expressed this opinion on Channel 24.

Russians will pretend to be polite

According to the expert, safety at the nuclear power plant will continue only during the visit of the IAEA and will end simultaneously with the mission of the organization.

I think everything will be simple. For the time when the mission is there, everything will be 100% safe, they will withdraw all the equipment, hide all the military, and ensure that there are no shots and shelling. – Alexander Solontai is convinced.

In his opinion, the Russians will try to present such a picture as a “permanent situation” at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

“Yes, at the moment when the mission leaves, everything will continue as it was before this time,” the expert said.

The visit of the IAEA mission to ZNPP: briefly

  • The need for such a mission has been discussed for a very long time, in particular, President of Ukraine Volodymyr insisted on it Zelensky and the head of Ukrainian diplomacy Dmitry Kuleba.
  • All because of the impudent behavior of the Russians at the power plant. They have placed military equipment on its territory and are simply shelling Nikopol and other Ukrainian cities from there.
  • Such behavior is fraught with the security of all of Europe. After all, in the event of damage to the power plant and radiation leakage, all the neighbors of Ukraine, without exception, will suffer, including Russia itself, as well as many other states.
  • By the way, the IAEA mission has already arrived in Ukraine – on August 31, experts arrived in Zaporozhye. The next day they will go to Energodar at the ZNPP.
