On March 9, in Moscow and the Sverdlovsk region, the start of an air raid alert was announced on television and radio. Citizens of the aggressor country were informed that “there had been a blow” and urged to immediately go to the shelter.
The report also told the Russians to use gas masks and drink potassium iodide tablets. Local authorities and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations said that the information was not true and it was spread by hackers who hacked the servers.
On the territory of the Sverdlovsk region, as a result of hacking the servers of radio stations and TV channels, information was broadcast on the air about the announcement of an air raid alert. The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Sverdlovsk Region reports that this information is erroneous and does not correspond to reality, the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations wrote.
