“Everyone keeps their fists”: Deputy Mayor Izyum was intrigued by a message on the network

Active counter-offensive operations of the Armed Forces continue in the Kharkiv region. Against this background, Deputy Mayor Izyum intrigued me with his message.

Vladimir Matsokin, Deputy Mayor of Izyum, left a short message on his Facebook page. However, it gives hope that the de-occupation of the city is already close.

Keep our fingers crossed for Raisins

Izyum has been under temporary Russian occupation since the beginning of April. However, against the background of the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces, there is hope that the Ukrainian flag will soon return to the city, and the invaders will be forced out.

What, guys! Is everyone holding their fists? – wrote Matsokin.

The fate of Izyum under occupation

Izyum, unfortunately, is one of those cities that the Russian invaders destroyed. Back in July, NSDC Secretary Aleksey Danilov said that Russia had hit the city with the largest number of missiles. In more than a month of full-scale invasion, Russia fired 476 missiles at Izyum. People who left the city told that it had been destroyed.

The city was under occupation since April 2. However, the return of the Ukrainian flag to Izyum and its de-occupation are inevitable.

Meanwhile, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are advancing towards Kupyansk.

After the liberation of Balakliya on September 8, Ukrainian troops began to advance towards Kupyansk, the city that the occupiers proclaimed the center of the occupied Kharkiv region. Kupyansk is important for the Russians, because through it the transit of weapons and food to the Izyum direction is carried out.

Analysts of the Institute for the Study of War predicted on September 9 that the Armed Forces of Ukraine would dismiss the city within the next 72 hours.

Occupiers in Kupyansk they are so panicking that they have already managed to proclaim Volchansk the center of the occupied Kharkiv region. The invaders also flee there.

It should be noted that Kupyansk became one of the first occupied Ukrainian cities during the full-scale invasion. On February 27, the traitor mayor Gennady Matsegora surrendered the city to the invaders and began to cooperate with them.
