The Orthodox Church of Ukraine is suffering along with its people. After February 24, priests mobilized and became chaplains or volunteers.

Metropolitan Epiphanius admits that every clergyman supports Ukrainians to the extent possible.

He admitted that chaplains are in military units, are with the military on the front line, and in the rear, every priest of the OCU became a volunteer.

That is, every clergyman is either a chaplain, and there are hundreds of such chaplains who serve in the army or support our Ukrainian servicemen in this difficult time. And whoever has the opportunity, takes up arms,” Epiphanius said.

According to him, the priests collect help, accept refugees, children, evacuate the needy, help.

“Our entire church as a whole, works in order to bring the common victory closer as soon as possible. We all support the Ukrainian authorities together, we pray for it, for the Ukrainian people, for our soldiers defending the country,” the Metropolitan said.

Epifaniy added that victory will definitely be, because we stand for the truth, and where there is truth, there is always God, and where there is God, there is always victory.

By the way, earlier The media reported that the Pope could come to Kyiv, despite the hostilities. The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine confirmed that the issue is already on the table and in active discussion.
