The Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States, Oksana Markarova, is one of the most successful, but every diplomat has a rotation cycle.
This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiha in the studio of Ukrainian Radio, answering a question about the possible appointments of new ambassadors.
Sibiga on personnel changes among ambassadors
— I will confirm to you that the vision of the President of Ukraine is to carry out rotation in all countries of both the G7 and the G20. First of all, to strengthen these countries, in particular the US track. This is now on the agenda, — the head of the MFA asserts.
According to Sybiga, we should expect about 20 decrees from the President of Ukraine, according to which Ukrainian ambassadors will be dismissed and new ones appointed.

As the minister stated, a meeting of all ambassadors is being prepared to sum up the results.
According to Sibiga, ambassadors must realize that the unit of measurement of their activities is the result.
“They must work for results, understand and be in tune with the realities of a country at war,” he asserts.
The Foreign Minister said that he was outraged when, while in a country where there was a Ukrainian embassy, his counterpart asked him whether the war was still going on.
Sybiga is convinced that such ambassadors or employees have no place in the system. The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry believes that this is an inevitable rotation process.
