Negotiations with Poland are ongoing. During the discussions, common ground and compromises were found, so the proposals should be sufficient to stop blocking the border.
This was stated by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland Vasyl Zvarich, Ukrinform reports.
According to him, Ukraine is doing everything possible to unblock traffic at the border.

Zvarich noted that every day of protest causes enormous damage not only to the Ukrainian economy, but also to the business of Poland and other countries.
“There is no reason for actions restricting movement at the border to continue.” We can resolve all the issues that concern Polish protesters at the negotiating table. But we want to see goodwill on their part too, so that the issue can be resolved, and not aggravated further,” he said.
The Ambassador emphasized that the requirements for permits for international cargo transportation are not issues that need to be resolved now. This issue is within the competence of the EU, so it must be discussed together with Brussels.
At the same time, while the war is going on, our state cannot return these permits to itself, since this will hit the Ukrainian economy even more.
Zvarich expressed the hope that the protesters will treat with understanding the decisions already worked out with the Polish government, which everyone expects.
Earlier, Poland strengthened control on the Polish-Ukrainian border. Polish Minister of Infrastructure Alvin Gayadhur noted that the country plans to appeal to the European Commission in order to “eliminate unfair competition” that has arisen due to the provision of the so-called transport visa-free regime for Ukrainian carriers.
