The visitors opened the scoring in the match in the tenth minute after a goal by Mark Guehi.In the 20th minute, Mykolenko struck at the Crystal Palace goal, but the ball was blocked by the opponents' goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
After the break, the Toffees turned the tide of the match and restored parity after Dwight McNeil struck the top left corner of the visitors' goal in the 47th minute. And less than ten minutes later, McNeil scored a brace.
This is Everton's first win of the 2024/25 English Premier League season. The Toffees lost their opening four games and drew 1-1 with Leicester in the previous round.
Thus, after six matches, Everton has four points, while Crystal Palace has one less.
