Drone attack on Ukraine
At night at 00:27, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the movement of a group of Shaheds from the south.
Enemy drones were moving through the Kherson region, the course was northwest.
Then the Russian drones continued moving through the Nikolaev region heading for the Kirovograd/Odessa regions.
At about two in the morning, several groups of attack drones were moving through the Poltava region heading for the Cherkasy region.
Several Shaheeds were in the south of the Kiev region, moving towards the Cherkasy region. Then the Shahids moved from the Kirovograd region to the Cherkasy region.
At the same time, several groups of enemy drones flew through the Nikolaev region to the Kirovograd region, through the Sumy region to the Chernihiv region.
At about three in the morning, several groups of UAVs from the Kyiv and Cherkasy regions flew into the Vinnytsia region.
At 3:48, the Air Force reported that there were up to 10 groups of Shahids in the airspace of Ukraine. Most of them are in Poltava and Cherkasy regions.
Next, Shahed was in the suburbs of Bucha in Kyiv region.
The last enemy drone was on the border of the Cherkasy and Kyiv regions.
At 7:23 the Armed Forces reported that the threat of enemy attack UAVs had been eliminated.
UAVs launched a massive attack on Moscow
On the night of September 10, drones launched a massive attack on Moscow.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin claims that tonight, September 10, Russian air defense allegedly shot down at least 14 drones that were moving towards the Russian capital.
On his Telegram page, the Moscow mayor wrote that the first the air defense drone was allegedly shot down in the Lyubertsy urban district.
Later, he wrote about two more drones that were allegedly shot down in the Ramenskoye urban district.
Sobyanin also added that they are currently eliminating the consequences of the fall of debris from the allegedly shot down drone in the area of the Zhukovsky airport.
Subsequently, the Moscow mayor announced the alleged downing of two more UAVs in the Ramensky urban district. According to him, emergency services specialists are working at the site of the wreckage, and information about the damage is being clarified.
Sobyanin also added information about drones allegedly downed in the Domodedovo urban district and in the Podolsk urban district. In addition, he added that another enemy drone was allegedly shot down in the Ramenskoye urban district.
According to Russian Telegram channels, Moscow's Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, and Vnukovo airports have suspended operations due to a drone attack.
According to the Russian Telegram channel Mash, the drones allegedly tried to attack Moscow's Zhukovsky airport.
At the same time, local residents report at least six explosions that were heard during the attack.
Explosions in Cherkassy
The first explosions in Cherkassy on September 10 were heard at 03:08.
Shortly before this, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that attack drones were flying into the region from the Kyiv and Kirovograd regions.
At 03:41, the head of the regional military administration, Igor Taburets, reported an increased danger due to the threat of the enemy using attack UAVs.
At the same time, a sound characteristic of a flight of Shakhedov.
In the Cherkasy region, the air raid siren was already sounded twice during the night.
Explosions in Kyiv
Explosions in the capital on September 10 began to be heard at about four in the morning.
Then the head of the city military administration, Sergei Popko, reported on the threat of UAVs to the capital and on the work of air defense on the approaches to Kyiv.
The combat work continued until six in the morning. After which the residents of the capital were allowed to leave their shelters.
Later, the KGVA reported that the air raid alarm in Kyiv was declared at about 4:00 and lasted for almost 2 hours.
All this time, Russian drones were approaching the capital from different directions and in different groups. But all enemy UAVs were destroyed by air defense forces and means.
Preliminary, there are no damages or casualties in the city.
Syrsky on the situation in the Pokrovsk direction
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky said that the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region is only part of the overall strategy for the defense of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region, where fierce fighting is currently taking place.
According to Syrsky, the Ukrainian strategy in this direction is working effectively.
The Commander-in-Chief explained that the enemy had concentrated its best-prepared units in the Pokrovsk direction.
However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces deprived him of the ability to maneuver and the ability to transfer units for reinforcement from other directions.
As Syrsky noted, as a result of the Kursk operation, Russia did not withdraw many reserves from Pokrovsk, but the weakening in this section of the front is noticeable.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine responded to the textbook with a map of Ukraine without Crimea
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine commented on the incident with the appearance in the public domain of a textbook in which a map of Ukraine without Crimea was posted.
Considering this situation, the Ministry of Education and Science has decided to transfer the authority to examine textbooks to the Ukrainian Institute for Education Development (UIED) instead of the Institute for Modernization of Educational Content.
In turn, the publisher of the textbook will correct the technical error at its own expense.
This was announced by the Minister of Education Oksen Lisovyi.
– Today, a photograph from a Ukrainian language textbook for 7th grade students is being distributed in the information space, which shows a map without Crimea. Firstly: Crimea is Ukraine! Secondly: the technical error will be corrected at its own expense by the publisher who allowed the design to be incorrect, the minister wrote.
He also added that his department has questions about the quality of school textbooks.
