Russians entered the outskirts of Toretsk: fighting continues
Anastasia Bobovnikova, press secretary of the Operational-Tactical Group Luhansk, reported that Russian soldiers entered the outskirts of Toretsk in Donetsk region. However, Ukrainian defenders are trying to prevent their advance.
– The hottest part now (in the zone of correspondence of the OTG – Ed.) is in the Toretsk direction. Fighting is taking place in Toretsk itself. The situation is unstable, battles are being fought for literally every entrance, – said Bobovnikova.
According to her, it is now difficult to assess what part of Toretsk is controlled by Russian troops.
However, it is known that the invaders entered the eastern outskirts of the city of Toretsk and advanced somewhat along Tsentralnaya Street, in the direction of the Tsentralnaya mine.
As Bobovnikova noted, the situation is constantly changing, sometimes the Ukrainian Armed Forces are recapturing their firing points, sometimes they are destroying ours somewhere.
“But we are constantly restoring them and trying to return what the occupiers have captured, and we are not letting them advance with all our might, no matter what it costs us,” the press secretary of the Operational-Tactical Group Lugansk summed up.
