In the United States, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky met with Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Charles Brown.
According to the Office of the President, they discussed challenges to global security, developments at the front and further Ukrainian-American cooperation in the field of defense.
The meeting took place at the US National Defense University. President Zelensky thanked the United States of America for implementing bilateral agreements. He especially noted the strengthening of Ukraine's air defense.

Vladimir Zelensky is currently on a working visit to the United States. There they plan to discuss defense cooperation between Ukraine and the United States, joint projects for the production of weapons and air defense systems.
US President Joe Biden invited Zelensky to visit the White House the next day, December 12. They want to emphasize the need for continued military support for Ukraine from the United States.
