The relevant information was reported in the operational command “South” on June 16 – on the 113th day of the war that Russia launched against Ukraine. This information was reported by the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade named after Yakov Gandzyuk.

Briefly about the story of the surviving locker from Borodianka

  • In early April, a photo spread around the network, in which a locker and a cockerel on it survived in a destroyed house. The kitchen cabinet was in Borodyanka, Kyiv region, destroyed by the invaders. This photo has become a symbol of the courage and inflexibility of Ukrainians who endure, no matter what.
  • Subsequently, she became so popular that they found the owner of that apartment and the locker. It turned out that the woman had moved from shelling to Western Ukraine.
  • Nadezhda Dmitrievna said that Russian infidels dropped 2 air bombs on the house where she lived. The woman settled there back in 1985. Her husband died during the liquidation of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Subsequently, the eldest son died. Nadezhda Dmitrievna lived with her younger son, who nailed the famous kitchen cabinet. Unfortunately, he also died.
  • The surviving locker was transferred to the Museum Fund of Ukraine. It was sent to the National Museum of the Revolution of Dignity, and experts have preserved all its contents. Inside the locker there are porcelain dishes, jars for spices and traditional souvenirs.
  • It is known that immediately after this, a Kiev woman presented figurines of cockerels to Boris Johnson and Vladimir Zelensky. The woman met high-ranking officials on the streets of Kyiv and presented each with a gift – cockerels, similar to those who survived the shelling of Borodyanka.
