Russia is devoting an increasing amount of resources to the war, and the economy of the aggressor country has been transferred to a military channel. However, this is not the only way Vladimir Putin wants to compensate for losses in the war.

In Russia, all forces are directed towards the needs of the front and mobilization. Russian opposition journalist Igor Yakovenko told Channel 24 about this, adding that work is going on even with people’s consciousness.

Why Putin is interested in a long war

They want to turn Russia into a combat camp – this is part of Putin’s plans, trying to prolong the war over time. The aggressor country expects that Ukrainian resources will run out faster, in particular they talk about the economy, people and territory.

Today they are even working with people’s consciousness in order to prepare an option to ban abortion. Everyone understands that Putin is interested in a long war, so the constant replenishment of manpower becomes a strategic point. – said Igor Yakovenko.

The resources of the occupiers are also limited, but they are still quite large. In turn, Ukraine is helped by the West, and even if US support becomes weaker, Europe is ready to compensate for this. It is also important to remember that it is not just a question of resources, but also how they are used.

“Here we need creativity, motivation, leadership talent, courage and courage of the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They have nothing left but to win not with numbers, but with skills,” Yakovenko added.

What's happening in Russia

  • The occupiers complain that on the night of November 14 they were attacked by unknown drones. They were noticed in several areas at once, including on the territory of the Bryansk Chemical Plant. The Russian Ministry of Defense, as always, reported on the operation of air defense and the destruction of all targets.
  • More and more new graves of Russian military personnel are being recorded in the Krasnodar Territory. Among them are mobilized, mercenaries and even career officers in high ranks. In total, more than 1,700 graves were recorded on the territory.
  • The Russians are trying to hide their ships, so they are transferring them from Crimea to Novorossiysk. The Atesh partisan movement reports that the occupiers are in panic after the successful strikes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Black Sea Fleet.
