To Zaporozhye On March 25, evacuation columns from Berdyansk and Melitopol follow. As of 18:20, more than 500 Melitopol residents have already arrived in the city.
Kyryl Tymoshenko, Deputy Head of the Office of the President, said that people arrived by buses and cars. The evacuees are already receiving the necessary assistance.
Food, places to rest and other necessary assistance are being provided, Tymoshenko said.
Earlier, he said that only Zaporozhye On March 25, 3,500 residents of Mariupol and 521 residents of Melitopol are expected.
Also, a convoy from the city of Pologi arrived in the city – 117 people. Among them are 35 orphans.
