European military concerns are constantly increasing their own production capacity of artillery ammunition, which Ukraine so needs on the battlefield.
This was stated by the President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel, Radio Liberty reports.
Peter Pavel noted that the production of the required number of shells requires time and an increase in capacity, and Ukraine needs ammunition now. Therefore, there is no time to wait for European companies to produce them.

So the Czech Republic is trying to find ammunition wherever it can and deliver it to Ukraine as quickly as possible.
— But at the same time we are increasing our own capacities,” said Peter Pavel.
He also noted that in the near future European manufacturers will be able to produce the necessary amount of ammunition to replenish the stocks of their countries, as well as provide Ukraine.
