In recent months, the volume of military assistance to Ukraine from Europe has become equal to support from the United States.
This is stated in the Ukraine Support Tracker study conducted by the Kiel Institute of World Economics as of February 29, 2024.
In total, European military support amounts to 42 billion euros in appropriations. This compares to the US allocation of €43.1 billion.

It was noted that in January and February 2024, European countries allocated about 6 billion euros in aid to Ukraine as a whole, almost all of it was aimed at military needs.
As of February 29, 2024, Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Norway) and
Germany were the two most important donors in terms of military aid allocated, with a total value of 10.2 billion euros (Nordic countries) and 9.95 billion euros (Germany).
UK aid allocation has stabilized at around €5 billion since mid-2023. In addition, the Institute noted military assistance to Ukraine from Poland.
How the volume of assistance to Ukraine from the EU and the USA has changed
As of February 29, 2024, since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, partners have allocated a total of 89.9 billion euros in military, humanitarian and financial support to Kyiv, of which the US — 67 billion euros.
At the same time, since the summer of 2023, the volume of European aid has constantly exceeded the volume of US aid, since Congress could not pass an aid package to Ukraine.
April 24, US President Joe Biden signed the $61 billion aid package for Ukraine adopted by Congress.
