Europe, together with the United States, is working on new measures to increase pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin.
This was stated by German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul during a meeting with Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky, Ceske Noviny reports.
Europe and the US are planning new sanctions against Russia to increase pressure on Putin
“We are in dialogue with the US on how to put even more pressure on Putin,” noted Wadeful, emphasizing that Ukraine’s future is in the EU and NATO.
He also assured that Europe will not agree to Russia’s aggression.

“We agreed never to put up with Russian aggression. Putin attacks Ukrainian cities with drones and missiles every night. This shows that he is not interested in peace,” the minister said.
Wadeful stressed that the Russian war is directed not only against Ukraine, but also against the entire European peace and security order.
Recall that US President Donald Trump said that he had a good conversation with Volodymyr Zelensky and stressed that the United States will continue to help Ukraine.
When asked whether the US would agree to supply Ukraine with more Patriot missiles, as Zelensky requested, Trump responded that the Ukrainians need Patriot missiles for defense, since the country is experiencing quite strong attacks.
