EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Josep Borrell suggested that the EU countries allocate another 500 million euros to Ukraine.
They want to send this money to support the defense of Ukraine. If the EU member states listen to Borrell, this will be 4 tranches of EU assistance to Ukraine.
The EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy stressed that Ukraine is fighting not only for itself, but also for the security of the entire Europe.
When we say that Ukraine is fighting for us, this is not an empty phrase. In a nutshell, the actions are as follows: I am offering the 4th tranche of 500 million euros of the European Peace Fund to the Member States to further support the Ukrainian defense,” Borrell tweeted.

On May 11, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he had a number of positive news for the defense of Ukraine.
He said that the House of Representatives of the US Congress adopted a new support package for Ukraine. Next in line is a vote in the US Senate, after which the document will be submitted for signature to President Joe Biden. The new support package includes military assistance worth $39.8 billion.
In addition, the President recalled that with the help of Lend-Lease, Ukraine has already received access to modern weapons, ammunition and equipment.
