The European Union plans to provide Moldova with additional military threats arising from Russia's war against Ukraine.

The European Union will help the army of Moldova

This was stated by the head of the European Council Charles Michel at a press conference during his visit to Moldova. According to him, they intend to increase the country's support.

We will help Moldova build its resilience and deal with the consequences of Russian aggression in Ukraine. Last year, we announced a support of 7 million euros for equipment for the medical and internal needs of the army through the EU peacekeeping mechanism. This year, we plan to significantly increase our support for Moldova by providing the armed forces with additional military equipment,” said Charles Michel.

He did not say how much assistance would be provided and what equipment would be transferred.
