In the evening, Ukrainian soldiers shot down an enemy missile over the Dnieper region. However, the Russian occupiers attacked Nikopol, Marganets, Pokrovskaya rural and Mirovskaya communities.
In total, 11 kamikaze drones were launched across the Nikopol region and five artillery attacks were carried out. According to information from the Dnepropetrovsk Police Department, two guys were injured as a result of the attack in Nikopol — 21 and 22 years old.

Grant from the European Union
Ukraine received a grant from the European Union in the amount of €150 million in financial assistance as part of the rapid recovery program.
According to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the grant will help restore critical facilities, transport infrastructure, and utility facilities. The second tranche of €100 million is expected in the first quarter of 2024.
Blockade of the border with Poland
Ukraine will feel a significant blow to the state budget due to the border blockade by Polish activists and farmers, which has lasted for more than a month. The state will lose about $160 million from a drop in exports and $700 million from a decrease in imports.
The National Bank of Ukraine believes that losses could reach $1.5 billion in two months. They note that import losses are due to a higher dependence on road transportation when compared with exports.
EU sanctions against the Russian Federation
The Baltic countries, in particular Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia, signed a joint declaration on a unified regional implementation of European Union sanctions against Russia and Belarus in order to reduce the risks of circumvention of restrictions.
According to the document, it is necessary to ensure unified customs control and exchange of information, and the authorities of the Baltic countries must adopt a regional approach no later than January 31, 2024. This is necessary to undermine Russia's ability to wage war against Ukraine.
