The enemy is afraid to fly into the territory controlled by Ukraine/hdpic
The Russian invaders are afraid to leave their entire air fleet in Ukraine. That is why they have not been flying into our territory for about 2 months already.
This was stated by the speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat during a briefing for Media Center Ukraine, Channel 24 reports.
According to him, the situation now is such that the enemy is using his aircraft remotely.
The enemy hasn't been flying into our territory of Ukraine, which is controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, for about 2 months now. This is a big indicator. The enemy still flies in the temporarily occupied territory, using helicopters, attack aircraft, – Ignat said.
Ukraine was ready for Russia's invasion
He stressed that Ukraine had been preparing for a probable attack by Russia for 8 years to Ukraine.
“We calculated the risks and understood the plans of the invaders. Everyone hoped that a conflict would be avoided. But it happened and the Air Force was ready for this. Within minutes after the attack, we decided to withdraw the main part of the aviation, personnel from the attack. In general managed to save the main combat potential of the Air Force from its destruction,” added the representative of the Air Force.
This is what Russia was striving for, because the destroyed Air Force of Ukraine would mean complete control of the aggressor countries over the sky.

Enemy losses in Ukraine
Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, our fighters have managed to destroy 213 aircraft. In addition, the Russians missed:
- 179 helicopters;
- 588 operational-tactical drones;
- 125 cruise missiles.
- Ukrainian defenders and defenders repulse the enemy in all directions Russian invasion. Thus, the Kharkiv soldiers of the National Guard, thanks to drones, destroyed the enemy’s manpower, as well as the ammunition load of artillery shells.
- Also, the Ukrainian military MTR destroyed three “Grads” of the Russian occupiers, with which the invaders fired at Severodonetsk. Another Russian “Grad” was damaged.
- Lviv paratroopers in the Eastern operational direction destroyed enemy equipment. The 80th separate airborne assault brigade destroyed 2 infantry fighting vehicles and an occupiers' ammunition depot, after which the enemy attack stopped.
In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already destroyed about 32,500 Russian troops since February 24. In the past 24 hours alone, our defenders managed to liquidate another 200 Russian infidels. The press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that the Russian military suffered the greatest losses in the Bakhmut direction.
