During the day on February 27, the Russians launched 8 missile and 28 air strikes, 12 of them by Iranian Shahid-136 attack drones. They also fired more than 55 multiple rocket launchers.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the main efforts of the invaders are concentrated on conducting offensive operations in the Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Miner directions. They also increase the number of personnel.
According to available information, up to 200 conscripts from the Rostov region were transferred to the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region. The threat of missile strikes remains throughout Ukraine.
What's going on in different directions
In the Volynsky, Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the situation has not changed significantly – the defenders do not record the formation of offensive groups of occupiers.
In the border areas of the Bryansk and Kursk regions, the Russians are carrying out engineering equipment for the area, in particular, they are digging anti-tank ditches. In addition, during the day, the invaders carried out mortar and artillery attacks on the following settlements:
- Khrenovka, Elina, Chernihiv region; Construction, Gorki, Atinskoye, Volfino, Pavlovka, Stepok, Sumy region;
- Veterinary, Strelka Gatishche, Volchanskie Khutor, Kamenka, Kharkiv region.
In the Kupyansky and Limansky directions, the invaders carried out several useless offensive actions. In particular, in the direction of the settlements of Stelmahovka, Nevskoe, Belogorovka, Luhansk region, and Spornoye and Vyemka, Donetsk region. They also carried out artillery shelling of areas of settlements:
- Two-year-old, Gryanikovka, Kurilovka, Kislovka, Tabaevka of the Kharkov region;
- Nevsky, Krasnopopovka, Dibrova, Luhansk region;
- Razdolevka Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction , shelling suffered Zheleznyanskoe, Dubovo-Vasilovka, Berkhovka, Bakhmut, Ivanovskoye, Stupochki, Kleschievka and Ozaryanovka of the Donetsk region.

The enemy continues to attack the positions of Ukrainian troops in the Avdiivka and Shakhtyorsk directions . The occupiers also carried out:
- several unsuccessful attacks in the direction of Kamenka, Krasnogorovka and Maryinka, Donetsk region;
- artillery and mortar attacks on the areas of the settlements of Avdeevka, Netaylovo, Vodyanoye, Pervomayskoye, Maryinka, Bogoyavlenko, Novomikhailovka, Bolshaya Novoselka, Neskuchnoye and Vugledar.
In the Zaporizhia direction, 17 settlements suffered fire damage, including Vremivka, Novopolie, Donetsk region; Olgovskoe, Gulyaipole, Zheleznodorozhnoe, Volshebnoe, Orekhov, Malaya Tokmachka and Belogorye of Zaporozhye region.
In addition, the Russians are actively conducting aerial reconnaissance to correct artillery fire. To determine the position of the Ukrainian artillery, they deployed the Zoopark-1 radar complex in the area of the settlement of Stepnoe.
In the Kherson direction, more than 20 settlements of Kherson, located on the right bank of the Dnieper, suffered from artillery fire from the Russian occupation forces. In particular, we are talking about Beregovo, Berislav, Vesele, Tyaginka, Antonovka and Kherson.

Russia is losing
The General Staff noted that the invaders continue to suffer losses. To provide medical care to Russian military personnel, they actively use the local infrastructure in the temporarily occupied territories.
So, in the village of Kalanchak, a military hospital was equipped on the basis of a local hospital. About 150 wounded servicemen of the armed forces of the Russian Federation have already been brought there. According to available information, the medical personnel are exclusively Russians, the defenders said.
Also, the invaders continue to carry out measures to discredit the Defense Forces of Ukraine and intimidate residents of the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region. The Russians once again fired mortars at the residential areas of the settlement of Oleshki and blamed the Armed Forces of Ukraine for this.
In turn, the aircraft of the Defense Forces inflicted 4 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers. Also, our fighters for the current day destroyed:
- 9 out of 12 Iranian strike UAVs of the Shahid-136 type,
- 1 Zala type drone.
Missile troops and artillery units hit:
- command centre,
- enemy manpower concentration area,
- air defense position.
