Civilian personnel of the military-industrial complex of Russia complain about poor working conditions. Due to sanctions, workers in this sector have experienced wage cuts and layoffs.

Problems in the Russian military-industrial complex

The department reports that the armed forces of the Russian Federation are reducing civilian personnel due to a lack of appropriate financial support.

The trade union organizations of the civilian personnel of the RF Armed Forces in the Siberian region addressed the Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin with such a letter.

Military-industrial complex workers complain about extremely low wages, despite the fact that for a significant time indexation did not occur at all.

The process of reducing the staffing of military units and institutions with civilian personnel is sustainable, the authors of the letter say.

According to them, because of this, there is a mass dismissal of qualified employees. This is not the first appeal of trade unions of the Russian Federation regarding the negative consequences of international sanctions for the Russian military-industrial complex.

But officially, the trade union of the RF Armed Forces for the Siberian region strongly supports Russia's war against Ukraine and arranges propaganda events. At the same time, he does not notice the connection between the imposed sanctions due to the invasion and the failure of the budget of the Russian invaders to finance their work.
