As the Russian media write, in the morning local residents noticed drones over the settlements of Veletma and Savasleyka. Now they are talking about at least 10 arrivals. Therefore, in the comments under the messages about the explosions, Russians also literally “exploded” with reactions of discontent, fear and panic.

By the way, the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin confirmed the information about the “drone attack”. He warned the Russians about air defense and electronic warfare systems “to suppress attacks by aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles.”

Russians react to attack

However, it seems that the Russian air defense, as always, has let its citizens down. They are outraged online, where is it at all. They say that emotions are “fed up”, and “something needs to be done” with the Ukrainian drones, because, you see, they “threaten civilians”.

At the same time, there were those who demanded revenge and called for attacks on Kyiv.

At the same time, there was not a single Russian in the comments who would suggest that such incidents at their military facilities will now happen regularly and are an obvious, adequate reaction to the strikes that their military carries out every night, when they attack Ukraine with dozens of drones and missiles.

Someone actually showed creativity and decided to help the Russian authorities find a way to counter the attacks. In particular, he suggested involving local hunters in the air defense forces.

“We need to arrange air defense forces from local hunters at permanent locations of probable strikes,” the Russian writes.

And of course, there were those who were outraged that “their own”, meaning the war, spread to their territory. They even asked ironically: “Who is it that is conducting their business here anyway?”?

“I went out onto the balcony at night, I was sitting there smoking, and then the explosions started. I jumped up, heard a roar, like a moped, and saw that the b*tch was flying above me, about 20 meters. And I was on the 2nd floor. That's when I was shocked. It was night, it was dark, and this horror was flying,” a Russian described what he saw today, like scenes from a thriller.

Others were outraged at how a Ukrainian drone could have covered such a distance.
