The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan resumed its work in Kyiv. From April 30, the Consular Section will work every day.

The address of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the capital has not changed.

It should be noted that the provision of possible consular services at the temporary office of the Embassy in Lviv will be extended until May 6.

Starting from April 29, 2022, the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Ukraine has resumed its activities in the city of Kyiv, the message says.

Recall that earlier, due to hostilities in Kyiv, the Azerbaijani Embassy suspended work in the capital and worked in Lvov.

What other embassies resume work in Kyiv

• Before Russia's full-scale offensive into Ukraine, other countries began to expel their diplomats from Kyiv. Then some departments moved to Lviv.
• After the Armed Forces of Ukraine drove the Russian invaders out of the Kyiv region, countries began to return their embassies to the capital, despite the continuation of the war.
• In Kyiv, already the embassies of the Netherlands, France, Italy, Turkey, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, the Vatican, Moldova, Iran, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan have been opened.
• Diplomats have also declared their readiness to return to Kyiv USA. Currently, preparations are underway for the speedy resumption of their work in the capital.
• It is important for the Embassies to return to the capital not only for reasons of solidarity, but also because of the importance of the continuity of the process of resolving issues of bilateral relations, especially confidential ones.
