Thus, in July Ukrainians will pay UAH 4.32 per kilowatt-hour for electricity without any changes.
It should be noted that for Ukrainians with two-zone meters, the electricity tariff at certain times of the day will be lower. Thus, from 23:00 to 07:00 the price will be 2.16 UAH per kW-hour.
Let us recall that previously, from October 1, 2024 until April 30, 2025, for those who have electric heating installations, a preferential price of 2.64 UAH/kWh was in effect, and only if the total volume of electricity consumption was no more than 2 thousand kWh per month.
But in January, the Cabinet of Ministers softened the tariff for Ukrainians who use electric heating.
Since then, consumers who use electric heating units have paid the full tariff only for those volumes of electricity that exceed the limit of 2 thousand kWh. For the rest of the consumed electricity, the population paid at a tariff of 2.64 UAH.
Let us recall that earlier the Minister of Energy German Galushchenko stated that there are no plans to raise electricity tariffs in Ukraine.
According to NBU forecasts, the electricity deficit in Ukraine will gradually decrease, but will remain until 2027.
Earlier, the Ukrainian government explained how to switch to dual-zone electricity metering.
To do this, the consumer must submit an application to the local electricity system operator to install a multi-tariff meter.
Along with the application, you must provide a passport, identification code, documents of ownership or use of the premises, and an agreement for the provision of distribution services.
The meter can be purchased from the electricity distribution system operator already programmed, or purchased independently.
In the latter case, it is important to ensure that such a meter is certified and meets technical requirements.
