The Russian Ministry of Defense claims that they destroyed and intercepted 50 drones at once:

  • 26 – over the Belgorod region;
  • ten – over the Bryansk region;
  • eight – over the Kursk region;
  • two – over the Tula region;
  • one at a time – over the Smolensk, Ryazan, Kaluga and Moscow regions.

It should be noted that local governors in their Telegram channels either reported on “shot down” drones, like the head of the Kursk region Roman Starovoyt or his colleague from the Ryazan region Pavel Malkov, or did not communicate at all, like representatives of the authorities of the Moscow and Tula regions.

Governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov at this time reported about the destruction of houses and victims.

And the heads of the Bryansk, Kaluga and Smolensk regions still had to explain to people why fires were raging in the regions they head after the explosions.

In the Bryansk region, the first problems due to the drone attack began before midnight.

Governor Alexander Bogomaz admitted that after the fall of debris from one of the downed UAVs, a fire broke out at the energy infrastructure facility in the Vygonichsky district.

Emergency teams of power engineers allegedly ensured uninterrupted power supply for consumers.

In the Kaluga region, notes Governor Vladislav Shapsha, a drone exploded near an electrical substation in the Maloyaroslavetsky district.

After this, Shapsha convinces, the energy infrastructure was “slightly damaged”.

In the Kardymovsky district of the Smolensk region “attempt” a drone attack on a fuel and energy complex facility, as Governor Vasily Anokhin calls it, was allegedly repulsed.

Although, Anokhin admitted, containers with fuel and lubricants caught fire from the wreckage of the UAV.

According to eyewitnesses, drones hit the oil depot of the Lukoil company.
