Eight soldiers who were declared missing after the incident occurred during military exercises of the naval forces (Navy) of the USA, confirmed dead. This was reported by 15 of the expeditionary detachment of the marine Corps in his Twitter account.
“Search and rescue operations 7 Marines and 1 sailor completed. All eight missing military personnel are presumed dead,” reads the post. “With a heavy heart, I decided to complete search and rescue operations,” said Colonel Christopher Bronze (Christopher Bronzi), 15 the commander of the expeditionary detachment.
According to the published document, the search was suspended after 40 hours of operation.
