European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen confirmed that Ukraine could receive the first payments under the €50 billion agreement as early as March.
She wrote about this on the X network (Twitter).
Von der Leyen noted that the political agreement on assistance to Ukraine is an important step forward.

Previously, the EU Council and the European Parliament reached a preliminary agreement on a new mechanism to support Ukraine through the creation of a Ukraine fund of 50 billion euros for the period 2024-2027.
European Union Ambassador to Ukraine Katarina Maternova stated that Kyiv could receive the first tranche of €50 billion in aid from the EU as early as March.
