During the day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 24 occupiers in the South/Collage of 24 channels Ukrainian defenders of the Armed Forces only in the South of the country destroyed a quarter of a hundred Russian invaders.
And to the morning results of the destroyed equipment and weapons, two more Orlan drones were added – one each in the Mykolaiv and Kherson regions. They were permanently grounded.
These reconnaissance drones are used by enemy troops to correct artillery fire. Now there are two fewer. All thanks to the precise actions of our units.
In addition, the units of the Operational Command “South” reduced the enemy horde by 24 “liberators”-criminals in a day.
The Russians continue to gain a foothold
At the same time, the enemy continues the tactics of securing positions. At the same time, they do not conduct active hostilities. However, they are concentrating their efforts to inflict fire damage along the line of contact.
Also, in the Mykolaiv region, the enemy again struck with the Smerch multiple launch rocket systems. The Russians also hit with a Mosquito missile. Fortunately, there were no casualties among the local population.
Recent losses of the enemy
- On May 5, Ukrainian defenders hit at least 15 air targets of the invaders: 14 Orlan drones, 1 aircraft, previously a Su-30cm fighter.
- In addition, our fighters are liquidating the personnel of the occupying forces. In total, they have already neutralized 24.7 thousand Russian soldiers.
- On May 5, soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down a cruise missile of the Russian invaders over the Sumy region. It flew over the Romensky district.
- In turn, near Kharkov, the defenders destroyed the pride of Russia – the new T-90M “Breakthrough” tank.

- In the northwestern part of the Black Sea, a ship group with carriers of cruise missiles continues to maneuver. Meanwhile, while maintaining a high probability of missile strikes throughout Ukraine.
- In the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson and Nikolaev, the Russians continue to agitate the population in order to bring collaborators to power.
- The “Second Army” of marauders and further plunders the stocks of agricultural enterprises. At the same time, the invaders cynically accuse the Ukrainian authorities of a humanitarian catastrophe.
